Description

Mashed cauliflower is a creamy, low-carb alternative to traditional mashed potatoes that delivers rich flavor and comfort in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium head of cauliflower (about 4 cups florets)
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut the cauliflower into small florets.
  2. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and add the cauliflower florets. Cook for 10-12 minutes until tender.
  3. Drain the cooked cauliflower in a colander to allow excess moisture to evaporate.
  4. In a food processor, blend the drained cauliflower with minced garlic, butter, heavy cream, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with olive oil or fresh herbs if desired.
