  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. Gradually combine dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just mixed.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized dollops onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about two inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft. Cool completely before icing.
