Description

  • 12 large button mushrooms
  • 1 cup canned or frozen escargot, drained
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Clean the mushrooms using a damp cloth and carefully remove their stems.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped parsley, and breadcrumbs. Mix until well combined.
  4. Generously fill each mushroom cap with the garlic butter mixture.
  5. Arrange the stuffed mushrooms on the prepared baking tray and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm with a drizzle of melted garlic butter if desired.
