- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk (or almond/oat milk)
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cut the bread into one-inch cubes and place them in the prepared baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and maple syrup until smooth.
- Pour the custard mixture evenly over the bread cubes and gently press down to ensure soaking.
- Scatter fresh berries over the top of the mixture.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
