Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 medium russet or Yukon Gold potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Slice the potatoes into thin rounds, about an eighth-inch thick.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer; season with salt and pepper.
