- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix flour, butter, and brown sugar until crumbly. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan and bake for 15 minutes until lightly golden.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in chopped pecans.
- Pour the filling over the baked crust, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until set but slightly wobbly in the center.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
