- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk)
- 1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
- 1 cup candy eggs (mini chocolate or jelly beans)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- In another bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until just mixed. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized dough onto the baking sheets and create an indent in each. Bake for about 10 minutes until golden on edges but soft in the center.
- Immediately press coconut into indents and top with candy eggs before cooling completely.
