Description

Fig and Goat Cheese Bites are a sophisticated appetizer that combines the rich sweetness of fresh figs with creamy goat cheese, drizzled with honey and topped with aromatic thyme. Ingredients

  • 12 fresh figs, halved
  • 4 oz creamy goat cheese
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Wash and dry the figs, then slice them in half lengthwise.
  3. Arrange fig halves cut side up on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Top each fig half with about a teaspoon of goat cheese.
  4. Drizzle honey over each fig and sprinkle with chopped walnuts if using.
  5. Add fresh thyme leaves on top, then bake for 10-12 minutes until warmed through and slightly golden.
  6. Once out of the oven, drizzle balsamic glaze over the warm bites before serving.
