  • 2 tbsp Fresh Rosemary, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Thyme, chopped
  • 6 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Let the prime rib sit at room temperature for about an hour.
  2. In a bowl, mix rosemary, thyme, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper until it forms a paste.
  3. Rub the herb mixture generously over the prime rib.
  4. Place the roast on a rack in a baking pan and roast at 450°F for 20 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 325°F (163°C) and cook for approximately 1 hour or until desired doneness.
  5. Remove from the oven and let rest for at least 20 minutes before slicing.
