Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz (340g) fresh cranberries
  • 3/4 cup (180ml) pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) water
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse fresh cranberries under cold water and remove any stems or bad berries.
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberries, water, maple syrup, orange zest, and salt. Stir well to coat all the berries.
  3. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and cook for about 10-15 minutes until most cranberries burst and the sauce thickens slightly.
