Description

Mummy Brownies are a deliciously spooky dessert perfect for Halloween or any festive gathering.   • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, sugar, flour, and a pinch of salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  6. Let cool completely before decorating with melted white chocolate for mummy bandages and adding candy eyes.
