Ingredients
  

Fruit Base
  • 2 cups fresh fruit (e.g., watermelon, cantaloupe, or pineapple) chopped
  • 4 cups water divided
  • 1/4 cup sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice freshly squeezed

Method
 

Prepare the Fruit
  1. Chop the fresh fruit into small pieces and place them in the blender.
  2. Add 2 cups of water and blend until smooth.
Strain and Mix
  1. Pour the blended mixture through a strainer into a pitcher to remove pulp.
  2. Add the remaining 2 cups of water, sugar, and lime juice to the pitcher. Stir well until the sugar is dissolved.
Serve
  1. Serve chilled over ice and garnish with lime slices or mint leaves if desired.
