Ingredients
  

Shrimp
  • 1 pound raw shrimp peeled and deveined
Marinade
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice about 4-6 limes
  • 2 medium jalapeños sliced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Vegetables
  • 1 medium cucumber sliced
  • 1 medium red onion thinly sliced
  • 1 medium avocado sliced

Method
 

Prepare the Shrimp
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the shrimp with lime juice, jalapeños, cilantro, and salt. Mix well.
  2. Let the shrimp marinate for about 15 minutes until they turn opaque.
Combine Ingredients
  1. Add the cucumber and red onion to the marinated shrimp and mix gently.
  2. Arrange the aguachile on a serving dish and top with avocado slices.
Serve
  1. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or tostadas.
