Ingredients
  

For the Beef
  • 1 pound Beef sirloin Thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce Low-sodium if preferred
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
For the Broccoli
  • 2 cups Fresh broccoli florets Vibrant green
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
For the Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster sauce Can substitute with hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Rice vinegar Apple cider vinegar can be used as an alternative
For Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds Toasted
  • 2 tablespoons Green onions Chopped

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather your fresh broccoli florets, tender beef strips, and vibrant garlic.
  2. In a bowl, combine your beef strips with soy sauce, cornstarch, and a dash of sesame oil. Let it sit for about 15 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add a splash of oil.
  2. Carefully add the marinated beef to the hot pan. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
  3. Toss in your broccoli florets and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, and a pinch of sugar. Pour this over your beef and broccoli.
  5. Allow everything to cook together for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
