Ingredients
  

Blueberry Lavender Syrup
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries plus extra for garnish
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dried lavender culinary grade
Lemonade Base
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice about 4-6 lemons
  • 3 cups cold water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
To Serve
  • 4 sprigs fresh lavender for garnish

Method
 

Make Blueberry Lavender Syrup
  1. In a saucepan, combine blueberries, water, sugar, and dried lavender. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  2. Reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer to remove solids. Set syrup aside.
Prepare Lemonade
  1. In a pitcher, combine fresh lemon juice, cold water, and lemon zest. Stir well.
  2. Add the blueberry lavender syrup to the lemonade and stir until well mixed.
Serve
  1. Fill glasses with ice and pour the blueberry lavender lemonade over the ice.
  2. Garnish with fresh lavender sprigs and additional blueberries if desired.

Notes
