Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables such as peas and carrots
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Biscuit Topping
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a skillet, combine the shredded chicken, mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook over medium heat until heated through.
Make the Biscuit Topping
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the milk until just combined.
Assemble and Bake
  1. Pour the chicken filling into a baking dish. Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit topping over the filling. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown.
