Citrus Fruit Bark

A refreshing and vibrant treat made with citrus fruits and chocolate, perfect for a light dessert or snack.

Ingredients
  

Chocolate Layer
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips or milk chocolate chips
Citrus Topping
  • 1 orange zest and segments peeled and segmented
  • 1 grapefruit zest and segments peeled and segmented
  • 1 lemon zest for flavor
  • 1 lime zest for flavor
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened coconut flakes optional

Method
 

Prepare the Baking Sheet
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Melt the Chocolate
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
Spread the Chocolate
  1. Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly with a spatula.
Add Citrus Toppings
  1. Sprinkle the citrus zest and segments evenly over the melted chocolate.
  2. If desired, sprinkle coconut flakes on top.
Chill the Bark
  1. Refrigerate the bark for at least 45 minutes or until set.
Break and Serve
  1. Once set, break the bark into pieces and serve.
