  • 2 tbsp Fresh Dill or chives

For the Bread
  • 4 slices White Bread crustless
  • 4 slices Whole Wheat Bread soft
For Assembly
  • 2 tbsp Butter for spreading
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice for freshness

Preparation
  1. Gather the ingredients: Assemble fresh cucumbers, soft bread, cream cheese, and herbs.
  2. Prepare the cucumbers: Wash and peel, then slice thinly (about 1/8 inch thick).
  3. Mix the spread: Combine softened cream cheese with fresh dill or chives until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese: Generously slather on one side of each slice of bread.
  5. Layer the cucumbers: Arrange cucumber slices over half of the sandwiches, overlapping slightly.
  6. Top with bread: Place another slice of bread on top, cream cheese side down, and press gently.
  7. Cut into triangles: Use a sharp knife to cut each sandwich into quarters or halves.
