For the Topping

  • 1/4 cup Nuts (optional) crushed almonds or walnuts

Preparation
  1. Gather your ingredients. Start by assembling all your favorite components for dessert shooters.
  2. Prepare the pudding. In a medium bowl, whisk together your chosen pudding mix with milk until it thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Crush the cookies. Place your cookies in a zip-top bag and crush them into fine crumbs using a rolling pin or your hands.
  4. Layer the ingredients. In small cups or shot glasses, begin layering your dessert shooters: start with a spoonful of pudding, followed by cookie crumbs, and top with fresh fruits.
  5. Chill before serving. Cover the assembled dessert shooters with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Garnish with flair! Just before serving, add a dollop of whipped cream on top of each shooter along with a sprinkle of crushed cookies or chocolate shavings.
