Ingredients
  

For the Batter
  • 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour provides a nutritious base
  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter adds rich flavor and healthy fats
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Applesauce keeps the donuts moist
  • 1 large Egg binds ingredients together
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder helps the donuts rise
For Topping (Optional)
  • 1/4 cup Carob Chips dog-friendly alternative to chocolate
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Flakes for extra crunch and flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Combine the wet ingredients in another bowl.
  4. Fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients gently.
  5. Spoon the batter into a donut pan, filling each mold halfway.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Cool the donuts in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Glazing
  1. Mix yogurt and peanut butter together until smooth.
  2. Dip each cooled donut into the glaze.
  3. Set aside to allow the glaze to harden slightly for about 15-20 minutes.
