Chicken Bites
  • 1 pound boneless chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup buttermilk for marinating
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour for coating
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup vegetable oil for frying

Method
 

Prepare Chicken
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken pieces and buttermilk. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Coat Chicken
  1. In another bowl, mix together flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Remove chicken from the buttermilk and dredge each piece in the flour mixture, ensuring an even coating.
Fry Chicken Bites
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Fry the chicken bites in batches for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  3. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
Serve
  1. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
