Ingredients
  

Banana Bites
  • 2 medium bananas ripe but firm
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter creamy or crunchy
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips optional for drizzling
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil for melting chocolate

Method
 

Prepare the Bananas
  1. Peel the bananas and slice them into 1/2 inch thick rounds.
Coat with Peanut Butter
  1. Spread a small amount of peanut butter on one side of each banana slice.
Freeze the Bites
  1. Place the banana slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze for at least 1 hour.
Optional Chocolate Drizzle
  1. If using, melt the dark chocolate chips with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
  2. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the frozen banana bites before serving.
