  • 1 cup Guinness stout

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9-inch round cake pan with butter or non-stick spray.
  3. Melt the butter and chocolate together in a medium saucepan over low heat.
  4. Whisk the sugar into the melted chocolate mixture until combined.
  5. Add the Guinness beer to the mixture and stir well.
  6. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  7. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  8. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture gradually, mixing just until incorporated.
  9. Pour the batter into your prepared cake pan, smoothing out the top with a spatula.
  10. Bake in your preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
