Method
Prepare the Halibut
- Pat the halibut fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
Cook the Halibut
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the halibut fillets and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Make the Lemon Butter Sauce
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to low and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir until the butter is melted and the sauce is well combined.
Serve
- Plate the halibut fillets and drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the top. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
