Ingredients
  

Salmon
  • 4 fillets salmon fillets skinless
Sauce
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice about 2 lemons
  • 2 tablespoons capers drained
  • 2 tablespoons butter unsalted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Salmon
  1. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the salmon fillets and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
Make the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  3. Add the capers and simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly reduced.
  4. Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the fillets.
Serve
  1. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with your choice of sides.
