Beef and Vegetables
  • 1 pound beef sirloin sliced thinly against the grain
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup carrots sliced thinly
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil for cooking
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch optional, for thickening

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok over high heat.
  2. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
  3. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the broccoli, bell pepper, and carrots; stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, sriracha, and cornstarch (if using). Pour over the stir-fry and toss to coat evenly.
  6. Cook for another minute until the sauce thickens slightly. Serve hot.
